Chrissy Grigoropoulos, Esq. – Attorney and Business Owner – The Grigoropoulos Law Group/Property Shark Realty Inc./ IME Sharks Inc.

Chrissy Grigoropoulos, Esq. is the founding and managing attorney of The Grigoropoulos Law Group PLLC.  The firm was founded in early 2015 and currently handles primarily large exposure personal injury lawsuits, high profile criminal defense matters and Workers’ Compensation coupled with Third-Party action. She is also the corporate Real Estate Broker of Property Shark Realty Inc., real estate investor, as well as the CEO of IME Sharks Inc.

    Where it all began…

Chrissy has always worked hard to achieve her goals; notably, finishing high school at the age of sixteen and receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph’s College at the age of nineteen. Subsequently, Chrissy earned her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University: Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing Michigan at the age of 25.

“During her law school career, Chrissy competed with hundreds for a position at The Washtenaw County Public Defender’s Office. Securing that position, she defended clients accused of felonies and misdemeanors, negotiated and entered pleas and had daily client interaction including face to face visits with incarcerated defendants. Chrissy also defended juveniles in court for misdemeanors and felonies, corresponded with their guardians and caseworkers to present the best recommendation to the Referee magistrate regarding pleas or trials.”

Upon completion of the Student Trial Lawyer program, Chrissy received a Certificate of Professional Achievement Award, issued by The Washtenaw County Public Defender, Lloyd E. Powell. As a student, she was recognized as an active member of a trial lawyer team, operating under pressure within a high volume governmental law firm.

Gaining invaluable experience as a litigation and trial attorney before venturing towards the personal injury sector, she “attributes her success to fluency in Greek and Spanish, which helps her work with a diverse client base, as well as dedication and hard work, qualities equally evident in her academic achievements.”

    Who inspires you?

“My parents inspire me. My father showed me hard work pays off and to always finish what you start. He came from Greece with nothing and was able to build an empire. I was taught good morals and my father taught me the way of life. Their work ethic forced me to go to school and become a strong independent and respected woman.”

What challenges have you faced and how did you overcome them?

“Loyalty is the hardest thing in the world to find! God is good and trusting hard work pays off. I was told time after time I would never succeed in life. I gave me strength. My parents believing in me gave me strength. The public and naysayers will always exist. I never bothered with sexism and comparing myself to a man…I’m a strong person…period.”

What advice would you give to your younger self?

“Don’t take life too seriously no one ever makes it out alive!”

    Looking towards the future…

“I am happy to say I’m a mommy and that was what I wanted my whole life! As far as my career the sky is the limit!”

This attorney, business owner and mama has the poise and shark attitude that fights for her clients as well as allowing her to achieve great success.
